Cameroonian Belgian-based filmmaker Rosine Mbakam’s intimate cinematic spaces shine a light on the inner lives of African women at home and abroad, and in doing so, find new expression for the African experience of cinema. AFS presents Mbakam’s three celebrated non-fiction features. The immediacy of Mbakam’s camera image and her utterly unique approach to perspective announced her as a rising global auteur.
