Series: Sweet Solitude: A Film Series Programmed by Jiab Prachakul and Presented by The Contemporary Austin

In conjunction with the exhibition “Jiab Prachakul: Sweet Solitude,” which is on display January 31–August 3, 2025, at The Contemporary Austin – Jones Center, we have co-programmed a screening series with the artist Jiab Prachakul. Her work draws upon many influences, including the cinematic art of her friend Apichatpong Weerasethakul and her spiritual alliances with many others, like Éric Rohmer and Yasujirō Ozu, whose works are represented in this series.
