Hal Hartley’s first feature stars the late Adrienne Shelly in her first film role where she plays college-bound Audrey, a young woman preoccupied with the threat of nuclear destruction who falls in love with a handsome ex-con (Robert John Burke) rumored to have murdered the father of his high school sweetheart.
