When you support the Austin Film Society, you’re also supporting the emerging mediamakers in our workforce development program, AFS Creative Careers. You’re supporting the filmmakers who receive funding from the AFS Grant. You’re supporting Austin Public’s ability to offer low- to no-cost classes. And you’re supporting the countless independent and international films screening at AFS Cinema. In short, you’re supporting the Texas film community.
On top of the warm fuzzy feelings you get from supporting your favorite local nonprofit, membership sign-ups and renewals made by December 31 come with perks. Those who activate a membership during our year-end giving campaign will receive a punch card* worth three concessions at the AFS Cinema (alcohol not included). And anyone renewing or signing up at the LOVE level or above will also receive a coupon** for an AFS-branded t-shirt.
