Here, the Western brand of frontier justice is represented by Newman as the titular outlaw turned Justice Of The Peace who hangs just about anyone he can find who fits the bill and confiscates their property. Newman is supported by a large cast including Stacy Keach as Bad Bob, Anthony Perkins, Tab Hunter, Victoria Principal, Ava Gardner, Roddy McDowall, John Huston himself, and, memorably, a trained bear named Bruno. A unique experience.
