Kinky Friedman is a musician, author and former Texas gubernatorial candidate. In the fall of 2018, he released “Circus of Life”, an album of new songs, on Echo Hill Records. He joined a loose group of musicians– including Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell and Roger McGuinn– who accompanied Bob Dylan on his 1976 Rolling Thunder Revue tour through the south and southwest.
