Belmondo reteams with THAT MAN FROM RIO director Philippe de Broca in this multifaceted comedy about a pulp fiction writer who can barely eke out a living, whose love life is a mess and who fantasizes endlessly about the adventures of reckless spy Bob Sinclair, the hero of his dime novels. The film careens between the mundane life of the novelist and the jet-setting adventures of the imaginary spy, with very witty and revealing results. With Jacqueline Bisset as the woman “both” men are striving to impress.
