This screening will feature a post-film conversation with visiting writer/director Agnieszka Holland.
A brilliant account of the absurdities of fascism and war, EUROPA, EUROPA follows a young Jewish boy who is separated from his family at the war’s outset, and begins disguising himself as the enemy in order to survive. Based on a true story, the film earned Holland a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
