ABOUT AUSTIN ASIAN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL
This year’s festival, showcasing over 31 films by Asian and Asian American filmmakers, features intimate stories that delve into the relationships our protagonists encounter and the personal growth (or lack thereof) that emerges from finding inner strength and reconciling with their identities.

The Austin Asian American Film Festival (AAAFF) returns for its 16th iteration, taking place June 26-30, 2024 at the AFS Cinema (6406 N I-35 Suite 3100 Austin, TX 78752). AAAFF, one of the preeminent AANHPI arts organizations in town, champions Asian and Asian American stories via media arts and empowers Asian Americans to explore opportunities in cinema.

THIS SCREENING IS A COMMUNITY EVENT
As a nonprofit, it’s part of AFS’s mission to include and empower other local organizations, and Community Events at AFS Cinema are an invitation for audiences to get to know our partners and to help us shine a spotlight on their impactful work.
