Indie filmmaking luminary Don Hertzfeldt will appear at the AFS Cinema for the first-ever preview screening of his brand-new animated short film, ME. Following the screening, Hertzfeldt will be joined by fellow animation legend Mike Judge for a conversation about the making of Hertzfeldt’s newest work and how it fits into his singular career.

Don Hertzfeldt is an artist, filmmaker, and animator whose critically acclaimed animated short films have been nominated for two Academy Awards® and have twice been awarded the top prize at the Sundance Film Festival. His films have been called “the best short films of the 21st Century” (IndieWire) and have broadly influenced popular culture. Mike Judge (moderator) is the creator of Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill, and many other brilliant shows and films, including OFFICE SPACE and IDIOCRACY.
