AFA Ciné-Club is excited to present a special October screening in partnership with the Champs-Elysées Film Festival. About 68, MON PERE ET LES CLOUS:
Opened 30 years ago, in the Latin Quarter, the hardware store of the filmmaker’s father is a hotbed for meeting people. It is also the former playground of his childhood. Bricomonge is about to close its doors for good. At the time of inventory and accounts, Samuel Bigiaoui decides to accompany his father during the last moments of the store. And he tries to understand what led this Maoist militant of the 1960s-1970s, a graduated, brilliant mind, to sell nails.
68, MON PERE ET LES CLOUS is a documentary that won the Prix du Jury and the Prix du Jury Etudiant at Champs Elysées Film Festival 2018.
