Suggested Knowledge
Basic understanding of lighting gear set up and safety is preferred but not required
It’s after dark, you need light. What gear do you reach for? What do you do with it?
During this workshop we turn off ALL the lights & only use the new LED light kits in Austin Public’s Inventory. You will get an idea of the distance these lights can throw, the width of the spread of the light, how soft the light is and what to do with it. We will do setups in twilight as well as pre & post twilight so come join us at we run around after dark, using light!
Topics covered will include:
- Twilight lighting
- Working with mixed color temperature light
- Outside/inside lighting issues and troubleshooting
- Distance, width/spread and soft/hard aspects of lighting and how to use it
