2025 Texas Film Awards

Celebrating 25 Years of the Texas Film Hall of Fame

Thursday, March 6, 2025 | Distribution Hall
6 PM Reception & Red Carpet Arrivals
7 PM Dinner & Awards Show

Attire: Modern Western Elegance
A touch of Texas, a touch of glam—cocktail attire with room for personality.

At the very first Texas Film Awards, Rip Torn got on stage to induct the legendary Sissy Spacek into the Texas Film Hall of Fame. And since then, we’ve inducted so many Lone Star film luminaries beside her — Renée Zellweger, Shirley MacLaine, Forest Whitaker, Guillermo del Toro, Carol Burnett, Matthew McConaughey, Willie Nelson, Ethan Hawke, and Luke Wilson among so many others.

The Texas Film Awards have a long legacy in Austin, and this year, we’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Texas Film Hall of Fame. That’s 25 years spent honoring and partying with Texas’ brightest stars and raising critical dollars for the Austin Film Society’s programs that help us achieve our mission — to support the careers of Texas filmmakers and to continue to change lives with the power of film. Join us downtown on March 6, 2025, for the fundraising gala that’s a quarter-century in the making.
