Opened 30 years ago, in the Latin Quarter, the hardware store of the filmmaker’s father is a hotbed for meeting people. It is also the former playground of his childhood. Bricomonge is about to close its doors for good. At the time of inventory and accounts, Samuel Bigiaoui decides to accompany his father during the last moments of the store. And he tries to understand what led this Maoist militant of the 1960s-1970s, a graduated, brilliant mind, to sell nails.
