Austin Polish Film Festival returns for its 19th year featuring award-winning Polish films that you cannot see anywhere else in Central Texas.

Synopsis: The movie unfolds in the spring of 1794. General Tadeusz ‘Kos’ Kościuszko (played by Jacek Braciak) returns to Poland with a bold plan: to ignite an uprising against the Russians, rallying both Polish nobility and peasants. SCARBORN is the winner of nine awards, including Best Film at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

ABOUT AUSTIN POLISH FILM FESTIVAL

The 2024 Austin Polish Film Festival boasts a curated lineup of ten full-feature films and three insightful documentaries. The festival starts on Thursday, November 7th and goes on through Sunday, November 10th. APFF’s mission is to build cultural connection between people in Austin and Poland, promote social understanding and tolerance, and provide high quality entertainment through the medium of Polish film.
