This is a weird one. Space aliens are taking over the bodies of earthlings, much in the manner of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, but the perspective here is provided by the young wife of one of the alien “hosts.” Effectively a gothic horror story about alien invasion which, of course, stands in for Communist infiltration of America’s small towns and suburbs—a myth which drove a lot of anxiety at the time.
