Description
In their most musically eclectic "Music and a Movie" show to date, PKWproductions brings new classical music, 1940s pop music, and one of the greatest movies of all time to the Lake Creek Alamo for a Memorial Day Weekend with Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane." Joined by Invincible Czars bandmaster Josh Robins (a demarcated "Emperor of Eclecticism" himself) and Waddle's colleague Adam Roberts (newly appointed artistic director of the Austin Children's Choir, accompanist at Hyde Park Methodist Church and a musical master of genres ranging from classical to musical theater), P. Kellach Waddle and his cast of tuneful colleagues will present pre-movie and intermission concerts devoted to the year of "Citizen Kane's" release, 1941, and the music of Bernhard Herrmann, the film's composer. Join the musicians of PKWproductions as they transport audiences to the musical world of 1941 in this first "Music and a Movie" presentation of Orson Welles' masterpiece!
