Are You A Member?

Join one of the country’s finest film communities and receive a host of benefits!

Movie lovers have access to our world-class ESSENTIAL CINEMA series, FREE sneak previews, and advance ticket purchase for premieres and special events like the Quentin Tarantino Film Festival, an AFS original program for die-hard cineastes, and the AFS Documentary Tour. Members also enjoy discounts to Avant Cinema, a new series of experimental and avant-garde cinema curated by filmmaker Scott Stark.

Beyond screenings, the Austin Film Society is a non-profit media arts organization supporting regional artists, offering youth and adult media education programs, and promoting Austin as a top location for production, so when you JOIN or DONATE , you contribute valuable support and sustain a full range of programming.

Premiere Membership is one of the best ways to show support for regional artists and to help foster a strong film identity for Austin. Whether it is through outreach and community education programs such as our Speakers Bureau or Summer Moviemaking Camps, or through direct grants to filmmakers from the Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund (TFPF), AFS promotes the appreciation of film on a variety of levels.

The Austin Film Society is a 501 (c)(3) organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

Enthusiast ($1,000 - $2,499) – All Sustainer benefits, plus:

• TWO tickets to all premieres
• (2) AFS collectible T-shirts

Aficionado ($2,500 - $4,999) - All Enthusiast benefits, plus:

• Invitations to screenings at Austin Studios


Patron ($5,000 - $9,999) - All Aficionado benefits, plus:

• Group Family screening (up to 40 people) or Family tour of Austin Studios
• TWO tickets to the Texas Hall of Fame Awards or $1,000 discount on table purchase
