About NIGHTLIFE:

NIGHTLIFE is a mockumentary comedy about the everyday lives of a group of vampires. But not your typical, cape-wearing Euro-goths - these are everyday joes who work night jobs to pay their rent, hang out and watch mindless television, stress out about their love lives and, oh yeah... kill people. A group of self-proclaimed vampire-hunters are on their tail, but don't think Van Helsing - think REVENGE OF THE NERDS. These 20-something geeks hang out in their parents' basement and play Dungeons & Dragons when they're not out on the streets hunting vampires with their arsenal of home-made gadgets. The "documentary" tracks the inevitable clash of the hunters and the hunted, the undead vs. the un-cool.

About the filmmakers:

Director/Writer Tim Sanderson grew up making no-budget movies in San Antonio,TX. He's directed a number of short films and spent a brief stint in New York on feature films before moving back to Austin to direct NIGHTLIFE.

Producer/Writer/DP Darren Scharf was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and grew up making cheap films with Tim. He has produced, written, directed and edited a number of shorts and music videos and spent a year in New York shooting documentaries.
