Summer Filmmaking Camps
Education
Conducted at Austin Studios, a feature film production facility, our summer filmmaking camps teach hands-on storytelling techniques using digital video technologies. We also partner with local activity centers and schools incorporating Austin Studios tours and guest lectures from professionals working in film production.
Each film camp focuses on a pre-selected theme or genre, sometimes creating genre-benders such as the “Musical Mockumentary” or “Kung-fu Telenovela.” The finished products are screened for parents, friends and participants at a culminating end of the week showcase in the Austin Studios screening room.
ELIGIBILITY: Ages 11-15.
